Saturday 7th September, 10 a.m. – Langton Herring Parish Boundary Walk starting at St. Peter’s Church - join us for a walk around the parish boundaries, hopefully when it’s not raining! – the distance is about 7 miles, so may be helpful to have some water/snacks with you (c. 3 hours in total as we detour to avoid walking down the main roads, and round holidaymakers caravans!). Or join us to walk part of the way. Some of the walk is across private agricultural land (by kind permission) and not on footpaths, and there may be some muddy patches now, so do wear suitable footwear, and no dogs please. We will stop briefly to reflect and mark various significant points on the route.

Beating the Bounds is an ancient tradition, in order to mark the parish borders, and develop a shared mental map of our local community.

Please let Martin Pearson know if you plan to attend or have any queries - angelcottage2@gmail.com or 07703 041341 / 01305 871928
