Save the Elm Tree Inn!

Locals have formed the Friends of the Elm Tree to attempt to purchase the freehold of the village inn for the community, following a decision by the owner to sell. The pub has been shut since December. A recent extension of it's status as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) for five years has also enabled the Parish Council to impose a 6 month moratorium on the sale, whilst the Friends group seeks funds.
